G1 Haskell Stakes (07/17/21)

Monmouth Park, Race 12

9 Furlongs, Dirt

.

#1 Following Sea 3/1

Carries a significant 4F Figure advantage coming out of sprints to try two turns for the first time. These sprint-to-route types are often ones I like as although they're covering a lot more distance, they'll see speeds much more relaxed in the stretch out. However, the offering is pretty short here for this type of runner going untested right into Grade I waters. The sire and dam were both sprinters and the half-siblings are 11 for 30 sprinting but 0 for 5 routing.

#2 Antigravity 30/1

Runner has been very consistent as of late building both 4F and Final Figures slowly over the summer campaign. Has a pair of local victories to spring off of. Took him 11 tires to break the maiden so this is quite the confident boost up in class. Plenty of value to see this one hit the board.

#3 Mandaloun 2/1

Has a right to move forward out of the 61/73 SOFT victory on this track with the SOFT pattern indicating some could have been left in the tank. Enters solid here but grinding style of running leaves him susceptible if a game rival kicks on out front.

#4 Hot Rod Charlie 6/5

Blasted off going 12 furlongs and sustaining a hot pace in the Belmont Stakes to a 74/79 and now sets back down to 9 furlongs. Interesting to the blinkers come off here indicating connections aren't looking for a hot pace duel here and we can see this one take more of a stalking approach.

#6 Midnight Bourbon 9/2

Has developed well from spending energy early as a juvenile with positive dirt spreads and shifting toward negative dirt spreads this season indicating late energy. Comes off a pair of 80+ Final Figure finishes against top competition and enters with the most rest of the field.

How do I get started?
Visit the Learn tab on the navigation bar where you'll find the Predicteform.com Legend and Pattern Guide. These two tools combined will give you the knowledge you need to use Predicteform.com:

The Legend helps to explain how best to read the Pace Figures. It clearly defines what every line, symbol and figure means.

The Pattern Guide highlights Form Cycle Patterns, a series of 12 symbols/abbreviations, each with its own definition. These patterns are the easiest and most effective way to evaluate what we can expect from a horse's future performance and expected form cycle.

Value Play Picks use the automated technology and process to evaluate every track and race as well as the Predicteform.com team's analytical expertise, we can now rank every horse by its likelihood of winning the race and value (initially relative to morning line odds).
Value Play picks are included as part of all subscriptions and you can view now on the Free Race of the Day.

Blinker's Off - We have also published founder Cary Fotias' unabridged book on Form Cycle Analysis, available by chapter free to all who register.

Free Race of the Day – Every day, we will make available the Pace Figures and Value Play Picks for at least one race.
